This policy covers the koykstudio.com website. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its page in the index. “We” and “us” means koykstudio.
The short version
- We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking on this site, and we don’t set cookies for visitors.
- If you write to us, we use what you send only to answer you.
- We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Visiting the site
Like any website, our hosting server records basic technical information about each request (your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.
Fonts and images are served from our own server; the site doesn’t load anything from other companies.
To slow down spam, the contact forms count recent messages from each connection. They use a one-way, salted code made from your IP address, kept for no more than an hour, which can’t be turned back into the address.
Messages and requests you send
When you use a contact or data request form, we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include (your name, which app it’s about). We store the message on our website so we don’t lose it, and we email a copy to our support inbox.
- We keep contact messages for up to 12 months, then delete them.
- We keep data requests for 24 months, as a record of how we handled them.
- If you email us directly, your email stays in our support inbox until we delete it.
Who else handles information
- Our hosting provider runs the server this site and its database are on.
- Our email provider delivers and stores email sent to and from support@koykstudio.com.
They process information only to provide those services to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California and other US states), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information. To make a request, use our data request page. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to its administration is limited to the studio. No method is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect what you send us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
