Do I need headphones?
To hear yourself tuned live, yes. Wired headphones work best; wireless headphones add a delay you can hear. Without headphones you can still record and hear the tuned take afterward.
Is my voice uploaded anywhere?
No. The tuning runs on your iPhone, and your recordings stay in the app until you share them. If you turn on iCloud Drive backup, copies go to your own iCloud account.
Is this the Auto-Tune plug-in?
No. Autotune Studio is our own app, and 'autotune' describes the effect. We're not affiliated with Antares, the maker of Auto-Tune.
Which iPhones does it work on?
Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later. You'll need to allow microphone access the first time you tap the mic.
Purchases and your data
How do I cancel a subscription?
Apple manages subscriptions. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose the app and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
I paid, but the app doesn’t show my purchase.
Use Restore Purchases in the app, signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. If it still doesn’t appear, write to us with the date of the purchase (never send card details).
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves, but we’re happy to help if something isn’t working.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes what it stores on your iPhone. The privacy policy explains anything that leaves your phone; for a request about that, use our data request page.
