Dash Studio

Dashboard Themes for CarPlay

Design your own widgets for the CarPlay dashboard, and hear a startup sound you choose when your iPhone connects to the car.

Coming soon Support

Dash Studio puts good-looking, glanceable widgets on your CarPlay dashboard: a clock styled like a speedometer, the date, the weather, your photos, your own car, countdowns and more. You design them on your iPhone, and your car screen follows.

Your first widget is ready the moment you open the app. Add it in CarPlay, look at your car screen, and tell the app whether it's there. If it isn't, Dash Studio walks you through the fix.

When your iPhone connects to CarPlay, it can play a startup sound you pick, followed by a spoken greeting if you like. You set this up once in Apple's Shortcuts app, and Dash Studio shows you how. There's no account and no ads, and your designs, photos and sounds stay on your iPhone.

Set up your widgets before you drive, and keep your eyes on the road.

What it does

Features

  1. Widgets for your car screen

Gauge clock, digital clock, date and month, weather, photos, My Car, countdowns and "days together", your next calendar event, city map art, a daily quote, a fuel and charge reminder, and emoji and flags.

  2. Designed your way

Pick a theme and a font, set your own colors, or use one of your photos as the background. Each widget previews as you design it.

  3. My Car

Choose a photo of your car and the app cuts it out on your iPhone. Add a color, a number plate and a backdrop, or start from a simple silhouette.

  4. Layouts for every drive

Save layouts for the morning, the night or the weekend. Switch the whole car screen in one tap, or with a Shortcuts automation.

  5. A startup sound when you get in

Engine rumbles, chimes and sci-fi boot-ups, plus a spoken greeting and a short delay so your car's own chime doesn't cover it.

  6. Seasonal packs

Themes, sounds and quotes for the season.
