Which cars are in the catalog?
Hot Wheels® and Matchbox® cars from the yearly mainline lists and the casting pages of the fan-run Hot Wheels Wiki and Matchbox Wiki, including color variants and store exclusives. Cars the wikis list as Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts are marked TH and STH. The catalog is updated with app updates, so the newest releases can take a little while to appear.
What if a scan doesn't find my car?
Make sure the toy number on the back of the card (it looks like HYW18) is in view and not hidden by glare on the blister. You can also type the toy number below the camera, or search by name, series or color.
Does it show what my cars are worth?
No. We don't show market prices, because nobody can promise they're right. On each car's page, Check sold prices opens a search of sold listings on eBay in Safari, and you can enter your own estimate.
Where is my collection stored?
Only on your iPhone. There's no account and nothing is uploaded. Your photos are saved in the app on this iPhone. Export a copy as a CSV file from Settings any time, for example before you change phones.
Can I bring my list from another app?
Yes. Settings › Import CSV reads a spreadsheet with a column called Toy number (or Toy #, SKU or Card #).
Why are there no catalog pictures?
Most pictures on the wikis aren't licensed for reuse, so we don't include them. When you scan a car you own, the scan keeps a photo of it on your iPhone, and you can add your own photos. See photos on the wiki opens the car's wiki page in Safari.
Purchases and your data
How do I cancel a subscription?
Apple manages subscriptions. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose the app and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
I paid, but the app doesn’t show my purchase.
Use Restore Purchases in the app, signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. If it still doesn’t appear, write to us with the date of the purchase (never send card details).
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves, but we’re happy to help if something isn’t working.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes what it stores on your iPhone. The privacy policy explains anything that leaves your phone; for a request about that, use our data request page.
