About Paint Visualizer
Which paint brands are included?
Colors from Sherwin-Williams and Behr, with their names and numbers, and you can add your own colors. Brand names and numbers are used only to describe colors. Paint Visualizer isn't affiliated with any paint brand.
Will the color on screen match the paint?
It's a close preview, not a promise. Screens, cameras and room light all change how a color looks. Always check a real sample on your wall before you buy.
Do my photos leave my iPhone?
No. Selecting walls, recoloring and color matching all run on your iPhone. Your rooms and colors are saved in the app on this iPhone, and a picture leaves it only when you share it.
Does it need access to my photo library?
No. You pick photos with the iOS photo picker, which gives the app only the photo you choose. The camera is asked for only when you take a photo or match a color.
How do I get a more accurate color match?
Match in daylight if you can. For a truer match, hold a sheet of plain white paper in the circle, in the same light as the wall, and tap White paper. Then point at the wall again.
Does it work on the outside of a house?
Yes. Exterior photos work the same way. On large or detailed surfaces, such as siding, a tap may not catch everything, so use the brush to add what it missed.
Purchases and your data
How do I cancel a subscription?
Apple manages subscriptions. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose the app and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
I paid, but the app doesn’t show my purchase.
Use Restore Purchases in the app, signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. If it still doesn’t appear, write to us with the date of the purchase (never send card details).
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves, but we’re happy to help if something isn’t working.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes what it stores on your iPhone. The privacy policy explains anything that leaves your phone; for a request about that, use our data request page.
