About the app

Paint Visualizer lets you try paint colors on a photo of your own room or house before you buy a sample. Tap a wall to select it, pick a color, and the wall changes while the light, shadows and texture of the photo stay as they are.

Give the walls, trim and doors their own colors in the same photo. Keep up to four color combinations for a room and compare them side by side. Share a picture that lists every color's name and number, ready for your painter or the paint store.

Point the camera at a wall to find the closest paints from each brand, or pick a color from any photo or screenshot. Everything runs on your iPhone, with no account and no uploads. Colors on screen are a preview, so check a real sample before you buy. Not affiliated with any paint brand.

What it does

Features

  1. Tap to select

Tap a wall, ceiling or door to select it. Tidy the edges with a brush and eraser, zoom in for detail, and undo any step.

  2. Color that looks real

Only the color changes. The photo's light, shadows and texture stay. Touch and hold to see the room as it was before.

  3. Several surfaces at once

Paint the walls, trim, doors and an accent wall in different colors in the same photo, each shown with its paint name and number.

  4. Compare looks

Keep up to four color combinations for each room, switch between them, and compare or share them side by side.

  5. Match a color

Point the camera at a wall to see the three closest paints from each brand and how close each one is. A sheet of white paper helps correct for the room's light.

  6. Your colors

Search brand colors by name or number, keep favorites, and take a color from any photo or screenshot and give it a name.
