Flight Speedo is a companion for the passenger seat. Before you board, pick the airport you're leaving from and the one you're flying to. Everything the flight needs is already on your iPhone, so it keeps working with no internet connection.

In the air, see how fast you're going, how high you are, how much of the trip is done and how long is left. Check the time at home, at your destination and on the ground below. See which cities, mountains and lakes are coming up, and which side of the plane to look from. If the phone loses GPS, the app estimates your position from the take-off time and marks it clearly as an estimate.

There's also a list of sights with an alert before each one, sunrise and sunset along the route, your flight on the Lock Screen, an arrival card with local time, money, plug types and the weather on landing, and your whole flight log. What it does

Features

  1. A speedometer for the plane

    Ground speed in km/h, mph or knots, with altitude and heading, on a big gauge you can read at a glance.

  2. Progress and times

    The percent of the way done, distance flown and left, estimated arrival, and the time at home, at your destination and below you.

  3. Works with no internet

    Airports, the map, places and time zones are stored on the phone. Start at the gate and your numbers appear as soon as the phone sees GPS.

  4. What's below your window

    Cities, mountains, lakes and landmarks coming up, with how many minutes away and which side of the plane to look from.

  5. Never a blank screen

    No GPS signal? The app estimates where you are from the take-off time, marks it as an estimate, and snaps back on the next fix.

  6. Your flight log

    Each flight is saved after landing with the route, distance, time, top speed and countries. Share a flight card with friends.
