Talk live: AirPlay & Bluetooth
Talk into your iPhone and your voice comes out of an AirPlay, Bluetooth or wired speaker.
About the app
Megaphone turns your iPhone into a microphone for the speakers around you. Open it, hold the big button and talk. Your voice plays through the speaker you pick: an AirPlay speaker or TV, a Bluetooth speaker, a wired speaker, or the iPhone itself.
Announce mode is for calling everyone to dinner. Hold to record a short message, let go, and it plays after a chime on one or several AirPlay 2 speakers at once. Feedback suppression, a noise gate and a loudness boost keep your voice clear, and your music can keep playing more quietly underneath.
There are no ads and no account. Live talk is never recorded, and an announcement isn't kept unless you save it.

What it does
Features
-
Live
Hold the button to talk, or tap it to stay on. Your voice goes straight to the speaker you choose.
-
Announce
Record a message of up to a minute. When you let go, it plays after a chime on one or several AirPlay 2 speakers at once.
-
Built around the AirPlay delay
On AirPlay, your live voice runs about 0.7 seconds behind by default. If it breaks up, tap Breaking up? to add a little buffer, and the app remembers it for that speaker.
-
No howl
Feedback suppression is on from the start. If a howl begins, it cuts it and tells you to step away from the speaker or turn it down. A noise gate quiets the room between your words.
-
Your music keeps playing
Music gets quieter while you talk instead of stopping.
